The
project took place at the Water Center for the Humid Tropics of
Latin America and the Caribbean (CATHALAC) as an internship requirement
for "ENVR 451 - Research in Panama," during the Panama
Field Study Semester, part of McGill University. Emil Cherrington
and Roxana Segundo of CATHALAC supervised the project.
The
Mesoamerican Regional Visualization and Monitoring System (SERVIR),
which is hosted by CATHALAC and NASA, provided much of the data
and support for this project.
The
additional geostatistical analyses of the EVCC are results from
an independent project that fulfills a requirement - "AEMA
403 - Environmetrics Stage" - of the Environmetrics domain
of the McGill School of Environment, supervised by Dr. Pierre Dutilleul.
